Descripción

Guerra de Granada (War of Granada) is the most famous book by Alonso de Palencia, a chronicle of the conquest of Granada, the last enclave of the Islamic world in Spain. Deserves attention the perverse psychological cunning of Fernando de Castilla, who slowly narrows the siege around Granada and does not doubt, on a few occasions, to behead the defending Moriscos of the towns near the city while, in other opportunities, it is shown magnanimous, forgives lives and respects the properties of these.
